The Abyss

Getting paid in the Abyss without sweating the reds

PvP General Updated Nov 1, 2026

Before you go

Who
Level 45, item level 1,000
Where
Abyss menu, then Enter. You land in your faction’s base.
Time
7 hours a week, counted only while you’re inside. Resets Wednesday.
Rules
Always PvP. No auto-battle.

Before you hit Enter

  • Swap stigmas and pick your quests first. The clock runs the second you’re in.
  • Lower Reshanta is home for now. Middle wants item level 3,000.
  • Got friends or a guild on? Go in together. Reds love a solo flyer.

Die all you want. You lose nothing.

Your gear, XP and Abyss Points all stay put. Respawn and go again.

The weekly loop

  1. Buy Command scrolls from the Command Merchant in your base. They cost Kina (15,000 to 150,000 depending on the tier), and you get 5 of each tier a week.
  2. Use one to get a hunt quest, usually “kill 15 of these” somewhere on the map. Do them out on the edges, away from the big fights.
  3. Grab feathers on the way. The white feather icons are Empyrean Traces, 200 of them in Lower Reshanta. Hand them in at the Ereshkigal Monolith in your base for permanent PvP stats and Azphel Daevanion points.
  4. Turn in for 1,000 AP a quest plus Abyssal Power Shards, then go shopping. The shopping list is in What to spend AP on.

Got jumped?

Ganking is half the Abyss. Here’s the whole decision tree.

A red dives on you

Can you take them?

Yes

Fight it. Yell in guild chat.

Won? Kills pay AP. Enjoy.

Nope, or there’s three of them

Pop your CC break

Free-fall, then V to fly off

Still caught?

Respawn. New spot. Nothing lost.

Staying alive

  • Quest out on the edges. The big fights happen at the artifacts.
  • Siege nights (Mon, Thu, Sat) pack out around the Executor bosses. Not sieging? Be somewhere else.
  • Group up, especially if you’re melee.
  • Fly through the Flight Circles. They refill flight stamina and give a speed boost.

Good to know

  • Geared players farm weaker ones because the AP comes easy. Don’t take it personally, you’re just on the menu.
  • Party vanished? The game sometimes moves people between channels to keep the factions even. Regroup.
  • Duty quests and Supply Requests pay AP too, no PvP needed.

Siege nights

When
Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 21:00 server time. You get a warning 10 minutes before the cores spawn.
Where
Dimensional Cores spawn at the three artifacts: Reshanta’s Root, Sulfur Tree Island and the Archipelago of Siel’s Wings. Whoever lands the last hit takes it for their faction.
Payout
Everyone on the winning side who pitched in gets AP. Each artifact your faction holds is +2.5% AP for all of you, up to +7.5%.
Corridor
Each artifact you hold opens an Abyss Corridor after the siege: a 5-minute solo PvE room full of AP.

Bosses

  • Executors Tamasa, Kaira and Argo spawn at 21:30 on siege nights.
  • Guardian Lord Nahma shows up Sunday and Friday at 21:00. Killing him once is a weekly season mission that pays extra Abyss time.
  • They’re all level 65. Go with the zerg, never alone.

Your rank

A separate score from the AP in your wallet. Kills push it up.

  1. Trainee, where everyone starts
  2. Soldier, 9th class up to 1st
  3. Officer, 1 star up to 5
  4. General and up

Those names come from the Korean servers. There, a PvP death shaves a little off the score, and that’s it.

What to spend AP on

  • Stigma Shards first. Stigmas are the priority, remember.
  • Daevanion Crystal: Azphel and the Fierce Battle Amulet Enhancement Scroll.
  • Potential Stone: Abyss (Unique).
  • The long game: Warrior Wings, then Brawler Wings.
  • There’s a weekly AP cap. Check the counter in the Abyss menu.

Double-check in game

  • Abyss Points on death: one guide says killers take your AP, others say banked AP is safe. The guide goes with nothing lost.
  • Siege nights at 21:00 server time come from community reports. NC hasn't published global times.
  • Rank names are from the Korean servers.
  • Corridor runs are 5 minutes per global guides. Korea cut theirs to 2 in April.
